Merick`s Sandwich Shop in Sikeston

Hands down this is the only place I eat at if I want a good burger that's where I'll go if I want good catfish that's the only place I will go there sandwiches are awesome they have friendly staff I love this place

Probably won't be back. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. There was one small scoop of chicken salad that barely covered half of a piece of toast. It was mostly lettuce. The toast tasted like it was cooked with old oil on the griddle. I didn't get my waffle fries and had to request them. My husband wanted the the buffet but they no longer have the buffet. Kind of disappointed all around.

Tuna melt was not served hot or with melted cheese. The people were rude and unpleasant, and the service was horrible.

Great little place, pulled off the highway and had a catfish sandwich that really hit the spot! Husband enjoyed his shrimp poboy as well. Friendly service.

Super nice and friendly customer service. Had a basic turkey and cheese sandwich and enjoyed their broccoli cheddar soup. Didn't try one but their desserts looked good too! Just driving through town on our way to Nashville. Would recommend popping in here! Can't beat their prices either!

The catfish dinner was pretty good. If the seasons were more flavorful this place would be wonderful. Prices are decent for 3 filet fish, waffle fries, hushpuppy, coleslaw, onion and pickle under 10 dollars. Very good price. Not to mention the service was great!!

A pretty cool place. Really good food and they have kind of a bakery also where you can get some tasty treats.

Cat fish was small and overcooked. The philly steak sandwich was just a slice of cheese under the meat. Prices were a bit high for what we got.

Foods great but I don't like a big tip being added. And for what bring you the food.

Always nice. Usually fresh. DO NOT GO IF YOU'RE PRESSED FOR TIME. It's not a fast-food place. Also, when you get a sandwich, make sure to tell them which chips you want even if they don't ask. If you don't you get stuck with the nasty, stale chips they "home make" Other than that, the food is really good.

Excellent, friendly, family-operated business. Great home-made food and good quality! The lettuce in my wifes salad was green and nutritious...unlike the yellow/white stuff you get in most fast food restaurants with no nutritional value. The owner went over and above my expectations of good customer service because she offered me a discount on our meal due to my misunderstood hours of operation a couple days prior. Dinner music was uplifting and the atmosphere was comfortable and warm. Even the kids were helping with bussing tables and refilling drinks for customers. The menu options were not only appealing to the eye, but also numerous. This was true "home-style" food that had life to it...far different from over-commercialized foods. I can see myself coming here regularly so i can experience all they offer.

I ordered the huge, delicious, mildly spicy, philly cheesesteak sub with the voodoo chips, which I also recommend. My son got the turkey and cheese sandwich kids meal. The turkey and cheese was melty hot on sliced bread and the order came with a drink and what I would describe as home fries. They call them Merick fries. It was all really good!

Buffet of ribs was terrible. Just boiled in a pot. Fibally trued this place again after a couple of yrs and I ordered the potato soup. Soup was good but very skimpy for the price. Ordered the bread bowl. Must have been just a cup of soup.

Catfish plate was delightful, service was quick and staff very friendly.

Absolutely loved it my first experience was great everyone was so sweet, and polite the food was mouth watering walking in you instantly get the smell of fried catfish and wedges and it's just lovely over all highly satisfied will go back

Wonderful place and the food is great

Good food but doesn't deliver like they say. I called and i had to make a minimum of $25 purchase to get delivery. Not a problem so i spent $30 and i still can't get it delivered.

I ordered two catfish sandwiches to go. It was 45 minutes, or so, until I arrived home and we were ready to eat them and I expected them to be a bit soggy by that time. I was surprised how crisp and crunchy and delicious they were. Merick's definitely knows how to do catfish.

This was our first time eating from here. The catfish basket was Awesome and we will be back! Also Haley: was exceptionally friendly as well as professional.
